ALL ABOUT FIT AND FUNKY KIDS

Fit and and Funky Kids runs classes and camps for kids aged 3 and half to 12 years old.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of all the activities we do. However just as important as what we do is how we do it.

 

Fit and Funky Kids is a non competitive class for kids where we focus everyone's self development. The idea is for every child to improve and develop consistently in an environment where they have fun and feel supported.

Our key aims are

  • Engage the kids with fun, exciting activities that will build confidence and help them grow

  • Learn about health and fitness

  • Encourage them to try new activities

  • We praise and reward effort at every opportunity

  • Provide a non competitive platform where children are able to improve and learn

 

Our programme incorporates activities from the following 

 

 

  • Fun exercise games (high energy, high fun these games will get everyone moving)

  • Obstacle Courses (loads of them in fact there's over 180 different courses making it one of our most popular activities)

  • Daily stretch routine

  • Boxercise (including games and the incredible Long jump boxercise)

  • Gymnastics - Artistic and floor skills

  • Ribbon Twirling 

  • Recreational Dance 

  • Basketball skills

  • Volleyball

  • Monkey tag

  • soccer skills

  • Circuit training ( yes for kids is great fun!!!)

  • Athletics - including long jump,  soft javelin's, high jump

  • Creative activities to give the chance to make their own games and get their brains working

  • Term Challenge - each term we give the kids a new skill to learn, a little challenge to show them how they can improve by practicing over the six weeks.

 

Our clubs focus on providing new activities for the kids to experience. By focusing on personal development rather than competition the kids are free to try new activities without being focused on whether they win or lose. 

 

Instead we focus on them achieving the best result they can and learning to improve their skills and confidence.
